Featuring a yoga pose for today; the ✨Downward-Facing Dog pose.

⭐️Downward-Facing Dog, also known as "Adho Mukha Svanasana" in Sanskrit, is a fundamental yoga pose that is often practiced as part of sun salutations or as a standalone pose. It is a standing forward bend that resembles an inverted "V" shape, where the body forms an upside-down letter "A" with the hands and feet on the floor and the hips lifted toward the ceiling.

Here's how to do it: 👇

1. Start on all fours, with your wrists aligned under your shoulders and knees under your hips.

2. Tuck your toes, press into your palms, and lift your hips up and back, forming an inverted "V" shape.

3. Keep your heels grounded and lengthen your spine. If your heels don't touch the ground initially, it's ok. Your focus should be lengthening the spine and stretching the back of the legs.

4. Gaze between your hands or towards your navel to maintain alignment.

5. Breathe deeply and hold for a few breaths.

It's essential to maintain proper alignment and listen to your 🧘‍♀️ body while practicing this pose.
