Choose your spot wisely… 100 years is a long time!
But also WOW 100 years!
That is a long time for a fruit tree to produce fruit.
The elderberry shrub is a hardy plant with some of their kind known to have survived while continually producing fruit for as long as 100 years. When we compare that to the average backyard fruit trees having a productive lifespan of 10–20 years for common backyard varieties.
And lucky day — we sell elderberry cuttings as well as starters (available later this spring) so if you want to plant an elderberry shrub, bush, plant of your own💜
Only available in Canada.
