Stop letting bad form hold you back 🚫🏋️‍♂️

Form is everything. It keeps your joints safe, prevents injuries, and makes every rep actually work for you. When your technique is solid, your muscles do the job they are meant to do instead of your back, neck, or knees taking on the stress.

Poor form might not hurt right away, but it can turn into bigger problems down the road. The fix? Slow down, move with intention, and focus on control 👌

🚫 5 Things I’d NEVER Do as a Kinesiologist After an Injury (to stay pain-free & mobile long-term):

1️⃣ Rush Back Into Heavy Work:
Pushing too hard too soon can cause setbacks. I’d always rebuild strength gradually and listen to my body.

2️⃣ Skip Proper Warm-Up and Activation:
After an injury, warm-ups and muscle activation drills are non-negotiable. They prep the body and reduce re-injury risk.

3️⃣ Ignore Pain or Compensation Patterns:
Lingering pain or moving “differently” is your body’s way of saying something’s not right. I’d always assess and address the root cause.

4️⃣ Avoid Mobility and Stability Work:
Regaining full mobility and joint stability is crucial post-injury. I’d prioritize targeted exercises before progressing to high-intensity workouts.

5️⃣ Focus Only on Regaining Strength:
Rehab isn’t just about lifting weights again. I’d also focus on balance, coordination, and endurance to return fully and safely to all activities.

💡 Your body is your longest home. Treat it with respect and move with intention.

👉 Be honest — which one do you need to stop doing? 👇

Did you know your hips could be the reason your lower back hurts? 🤔

When the hips are tight, weak, or not moving well, your lower back often picks up the slack leading to pain, stiffness, or even flare-ups.

That’s why we don’t just treat where it hurts. We look at how your whole body moves.

Stronger, more mobile hips = a happier, healthier back. 💪

Follow us for simple insights, real movement strategies, and support that helps you feel your best, one step at a time.
