Part of a precursor for the many neurotransmitters like GABA. Glutamic Acid is the back bone for many key Ammines and Hormones. The most popular in fitness application is the L-Glutamine form which helps repair cells and transport lactic acid out of the muscle. This allows better recovery and also helps repair damaged gut lining.
