Welcome Brock Bishop to Impact!

Brock is currently completing his studies in Massage Therapy at the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in Vernon, B.C. As he prepares for his upcoming board examinations, he is offering reduced rate massage treatments to the public.
Currently working on select Saturdays! (See our booking page to book an appointment with him under the “student massage therapy” tab of Janeapp.)
*Please note that Brock cannot accept ICBC or WCB as well as any extended health insurance at this time.

With a strong background in athletics, including experience in football, hockey, and as a former champion of the Hockey Night in Canada Play On Ball Hockey Tournament, Brock is now focused on bodybuilding. His extensive athletic history provides him with a deep understanding of the physical demands placed on the body, making him especially well-suited to work with individuals in the fitness community.

Brock blends his knowledge of sports performance with a diverse range of massage techniques, including myofascial release and joint mobilizations. His goal is to enhance mobility, alleviate tension, and support overall well-being, creating a holistic approach that benefits his clients both physically and mentally.

Impact has been helping out once again this year with the invitational tournament as we work benchside to keep the boys safe and healthy on the ice. Some of these kids may have had their first taste of a team trainer/medic and so we hope they will enjoy the experience!
Big thanks to Impact’s staff and .rmt as well as support medic for filling in for us as well!
Great to see some of our local clients at Impact and making the rosters for this tournament. Way to go guys!

May 1st marked 10 years for me as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). I’ve worked well over 15,000 hours of massage/hands-on time and every day I wake up and am excited to get to work.
Some of the photos attached many people likely don’t associate with being a RMT but to me was always something I desired to add to my career. Being actively engaged with athletes allows me to be a better therapist as I get to see an injury in real time, assess and then later get to see these same athletes walk into my clinic doors for rehab.
My job is one of connection. On a personal level but also deeper anatomical levels. I’ve made many positive relationships along the way and I always want to see the clients I work with leave being better off physically, emotionally and mentally. Massage therapy has the potential to do all of that and I’m honoured to be able to be entrusted with an individual’s health.
I hope my energy and desire for this profession continues and that my passion for it keeps me driven to be the best I can for another 10 years.

This is the only photo I have of Trent in my phone but this is a call to anyone who has any idea of Trent’s whereabouts. He has been missing now for 7 days. I met Trent last year as teammates through spring hockey. Trent is a former and we as brothers and teammates in the hockey world are hoping for his safe return. Please call the RCMP if you have any information about Trent’s situation.
Come home Trent 🙏
