Our trained physiotherapists are recognized experts in physical rehabilitation who are essential members of the client-centered team of health professionals. To practice in our province, physiotherapists must obtain a baccalaureate degree or higher to pass the Physiotherapy National Examinations before being allowed to practice. We are licensed by the College of Physiotherapists of British Columbia under the Regulated Health Professionals Act and are permitted to assess and treat a client without a physician’s referral. At Vernon Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Clinic, we use a comprehensive approach to evaluate the physical needs and abilities of our clients, and develop a personalized program to help them achieve their goals. Our primary object is to promote optimum health function.
