Celebrating over a year at .elements Healing Arts Studio and the exciting news of our new clinic space at 3213, 31st Ave. Brooklyn Fuhriman is a registered massage therapist (RMT) ready to welcome new clients!

Brooklyn moved to the Okanagan from Northern BC and is here to stay. She enjoys camping, dirt biking, and spending time with friends. She's passionate about all forms of art and painting and is always eager to learn more about human anatomy. With over a year of practice, she enjoys meeting new people and caring for her regular clients.

Brooklyn started playing soccer at the age of eight and continued playing competitively for fifteen years. Watching her teammates, along with herself, go through injuries and the recuperation process showed her the importance of injury rehabilitation as well as prevention. She was often called on by her friends to help work out the kinks and the knots with her massage. This propelled her interest in body mechanics and the power of massage as well as fulfilling her desire to help others.

Brooklyn graduated from the renowned OVCMT in December 2023 and obtained her accreditation with the CMTBC in May 2024. In October 2024 she expanded her skills through training in Graston Technique and she incorporates methods such as fascial release, trigger point therapy, and deep tissue work, which is beneficial to her clients, in their treatment.

You can find Brooklyn at Tidal Elements Healing Arts Studio every Monday from 1:30 pm to 7:30 pm and every Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.

🌊 Today’s spotlight is on Jennifer de Bourcier, Craniosacral Therapist at .elements 🌊

In 2015 Jen discovered the potency of therapeutic body work when she sought support to resolve numerous long standing symptoms resulting from nervous system dysregulation and chronic stress. Through reclaiming nervous system balance and the ensuing exploration towards health, vitality and joy, she knew she wanted to become a biodynamic craniosacral practitioner. After completing the training she began supporting clients to access the health, balance and lessen pain in their own bodies and lives. Jen supports clients with a variety of challenges such as chronic pain, anxiety, tinnitus, nervous system dysregulation, post concussion, connection to self, surgery recovery, pregnancy/birth/postpartum, trauma recovery, ptsd and more.

Jen continues to be fascinated and inspired by the breadth of biodynamic craniosacral therapy. She is privileged to witness the progress, experiences and reclamation in the clients who frequent her BCST practice. She looks forward to supporting you on your journey as well.

In her personal life, Jen lives with her husband and nearly grown children on a beautiful rural property. She grows a plethora of food and flowers, selling bouquets during the growing season. Her garden is a source of great delight and renewal. She is working towards completion of the Somatic Experiencing Professional Training program. Jen values her close friendships and relishes the connection with the wonderful women in her life.

🌊 We are celebrating 4 years of having Ross Freeman-Marsh offer his RMT services here at .elements! 🌊

Ross Freeman-Marsh is a Registered Massage Therapist and a graduate of OVCMT’s massage therapy diploma program.

Ross was drawn to massage therapy after an RMT helped him recover from a lumbar spine injury. He has gained experience working in spas and offering mobile massage prior to becoming registered.

Ross incorporates modalities such as swedish massage, deep tissue, myofascial release, joint mobilizations and trigger point therapy into his practice. His preferred area of practice is treatment of pain and postural distortions caused by regular day-to-day life. Treatments aim to address the discomfort and also the continual postures/activities that cause it.

Outside of the clinic, Ross enjoys exercise, and tabletop games 🏓

For specific questions about the modalities that he offers, contact Ross directly at ross@tidalelements.ca.

Today’s spotlight is on Grant Cross, Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner & Manual Osteopathic Therapist. Grant can be found at .elements new location at 3213 31st Ave, Vernon!!

Grant has been interested in health and wellness from a young age, as well as had a natural curiosity for the non-beaten path. After varied studies in his formative years—including two diplomas in Psychology and Kinesiology, as well as a Bachelor of Arts— he decided to pursue his calling to help others in their journey of healing. He is a Practitioner of Chinese Medicine and has completed the schooling for the Doctorate in Chinese Medicine from Pacific Rim College in Victoria, BC in 2021. Grant has recently become a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner as well.

His interests outside of education include: frisbee golf, snowboarding, and hockey—though he grew up playing any sport that was available, so he understands that there are different health needs for different sports. With an interest in sports, Grant has also had experience treating and training young athletes and whole families from conception to elderly. Giving people the tools to reach their full potential is what Chinese medicine is all about, which is why young athletes can be rewarding to work with, as small changes make a large impact on the direction of their sporting careers.

If you have any questions about Grant’s services, please feel free email him directly at grant@tidalelements.ca.

🌊 We are celebrating 2 years of having Naomi Sturtridge, offer her counseling services here at .elements!🌊

Outside of the clinic, Naomi has had a lifelong love for horses. Growing up on a farm in rural Alberta she was able to spend a lot of time with horses, learning how to ride, and spending time with them in the fields and forests. As an adult, Naomi has witnessed the powerful presence that horses can bring for healing. One of her goals is to be able to offer somatic therapy combined with the majestic healing presence of horses. Naomi is currently enrolled in a year long Equine Facilitated Applied Modality training to learn how to offer equine facilitated somatic therapy sessions.

Naomi practices Somatic Counselling here at Tidal Elements Healing Arts Clinic. A trained counsellor and yoga teacher, Naomi is also training in Somatic Experiencing. Somatic Experiencing is a therapy that works with the body and nervous system to resolve the symptoms of chronic stress and trauma.
