Jenna Roze practices Acupuncture in Vernon and Coldstream BC, she is dedicated in sharing the experience of healing and change with her patients. By combining traditional techniques, modern knowledge and intuition she can approach your health in a holistic way. The name “Red Bird” refers to the Shen (consciousness, heart spirit/mind) in Chinese Medicine . The Element connected to the heart is Fire (red) and “bird” directly represents Shen. The health of our Shen directly relates to the health of our body and our body’s response to healing. By incorporating the treatment of Shen, we can encourage the physical body to heal faster and more efficiently. Her practice is located upstairs in the historic Russell Inkster House in lower East Hill.

ATCMA has been communicating with government and stakeholders about the upcoming fee changes Health Canada is placing on Natural Health Products (NHPs), including any processed Chinese herbs (raw herbs are exempt) like concentrated herbal powders and herbal tablets, capsules, pellets, patches, topicals, moxibustion products, and more.
Distributors and manufacturers have told us that these fees will likely lead to higher costs that will be passed down to us and our patients. Further, they are likely to result in a decrease in availability to the wide array of herbal and TCM products that we use, as companies will need to decide if carrying a particular herb or TCM product is financially viable or not.
