Hi everybody,
Its with a heavy heart that I let you all know that I will be retiring and selling the building.
We have always had full support from the city of Vernon, When we opened are doors in 2013 we invited the mayor, council and bylaw even the RCMP came through and shook hands and said great job.
We had sat with mayor Lippert and asked if Vernon would support a medical store. He took the question to UBCM for clarity and had us sit with the Chief of Vernon RCMP,Interior Health, Down town business association. This is what a Mayor and council are there for not enforcement, this should have been left to the province. The Governments own paperwork says that Legalization is only about recreational and the feds control the MEDICAL!! If this is the case then any store focused on MEDICAL should remain opened as we have. To force medically approved patients to order on line is criminal
and puts a huge hardship on are most vulnerable. GUESS THIS WILL BE JUSTINS NEXT APOLOGY TO CANADIANS.
My recommendation is for all medical patients to sign up to grow their own medical cannabis, not the four plants allowed for recreational but the hundred or so you will be allowed as a medical patient.
This is HEALTH CANADA paperwork and is a little bit more extensive and you must pay the DR. to fill out the forms, as the Government will not. DR FAIR at www.mcrci.com should be able to help with this.
The other choice you have for quality products is the green mile on west side rd. They all run very different so my recommendation would be Top Hat Cannabis just past Little Kingdom Store on the left.
