Founded in 2006, Equilibrium was born out of a desire to help people in pain and to provide an exceptional experience to our patients on their journey toward health and wellness. Our calm, relaxing environment is felt the moment you step into our clinic and provides a healing space to receive massage therapy, physiotherapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, osteopathy and kinesiology treatments. We are grateful to have the opportunity to play a part in your process of healing.
Equilibrium is a group of clinics located in Victoria, BC with 52 dedicated team members. We have three locations to serve you; Equilibrium Massage Therapy is conveniently located on the edge of downtown on Yates St, near Cook. Equilibrium Therapeutics is located on Tillicum Rd, at the corner of highway 1 and Equilibrium Therapeutics Eagle Creek is located in Eagle Creek Village, opposite Victoria General Hospital. For ease of access, all locations offer free parking with 2 hour free parking on Yates St., and a free parking lot at both our Tillicum and Eagle Creek Village locations.
Equilibrium has been Victoria’s largest provider of massage therapy services for many years. The high demand for our services prompted the need to expand to be able to offer more availability for our patients. We also had the desire to offer a more integrated approach to healing, realizing the benefits of multiple disciplines. In October of 2018, we opened our second location, Equilibrium Therapeutics, changing the name slightly to mark the diversification of our types of practitioners. In October of 2019, we opened our third location at Eagle Creek Village.
We have a highly experienced multidisciplinary manual therapy team who offer specialized treatment services for any pain, injury, or discomfort you may be feeling. We also feel it’s very important to maintain your successes and offer wellness treatments for those that have worked through their physical issues, as well as for those that have stressful lives and see the benefits that regular treatment programs can provide. Most of our patients are seeing us to address a specific physical limitation, injury or condition, but many desire the benefits of a long-term treatment program. No matter which location you choose, we are happy to offer the choice to integrate treatments across multiple disciplines. We continue to devote a large amount of our practice to the Registered Massage Therapy we’ve become known for.
