While we are working to increase access on the South Island, we encourage our community to visit our ways to help page to learn how they can contribute to our goal of recruiting more doctors to the Goldstream Medical Clinic.

🌟 What a fantastic week! Last Thursday, we attended the Westshore Charity Golf Tournament, a key partner in funding our recruitment success for doctors. On Monday, we shared exciting news that the City of Langford is contributing up to $1.7 million for tenant improvements and equipment for a new medical space in Langford!

The great news? Work has already begun! We’ve hired 5 doctors for this new facility and are looking to hire 5 more. We're kicking off fundraising in our community - join along on our mission and become a monthly or one time donor. All of our amazing donors will be recognized in the new Goldstream Medical Space.

Announcing our newest clinic - in partnership with City of Langford.

BIG NEWS! 🚨 After over a year of focused efforts, the City of Langford is proud to announce the Goldstream Medical Clinic, a long-term partnership with the South Island Primary Care Society and the Freemasons of Langford! 🩺

The new clinic will provide space for 10 doctors serving over 12,500 patients, a significant stride forward in addressing the critical shortage of family doctors in the West Shore. Langford Council voted unanimously to fund the costs of tenant improvements, furniture, fixtures, and medical equipment to establish the new clinic.

Located on the ground floor of the new Westshore Masonic Centre on Bryn Maur Road, the new clinic is a significant step in addressing nearly half the estimated 27,000 unattached patients in the West Shore region. In addition to funding up to $1.7 million for tenant improvements, equipment, furniture, and fixtures, the City has offered temporary accommodations for doctors, the consideration of a Permissive Tax Exemption, and marketing assistance for ongoing doctor recruitment.

The City appreciates the support from the West Shore Charity Golf Tournament, community members, and local businesses. Their contributions helped the South Island Primary Care Society secure partial funds required for recruiting doctors for the new clinic. Additional fundraising efforts are required.
