Reflecting on 2025, we achieved a major milestone with our largest partnership yet to address the South Islands Primary Care Crisis, . The launch of the Goldstream Medical Clinic marked the beginning of an extraordinary collaboration. A highlight was the society's first fundraiser, an outdoor movie event hosted by , which drew 1500 community members and spotlighted primary care expansion.

Partnership didn’t start and end with the commitment to make our new clinic happen. The invisible commitments mid project where the asked “what more can we do?” led us to such meaningful growth, and we are thankful for every effort.

Special thanks to , , and for being the best chairs and giving so much of your time to bringing more doctors to Langford.

In 2025, 714 donors supported the South Island primary care society for the first time, enabling us to pay for the recruitment and immigration of new doctors to our community, and open new clinics here on the South Island.

Reflecting on 2025, we are grateful for Stew Young and , a dedicated and longstanding partner of the South Island Primary Care Society. The Westshore Charity Golf Tournament has supported us since our inception, providing funding for our first group of physicians who immigrated from the United Kingdom to serve the Western Communities. Their early generosity and belief in our mission have been crucial to our ongoing success in physician recruitment.

We are just one of many charities that benefit from this golf tournament, which will celebrate its 30th annual event in 2026.

🎉✨ WINTERFEST kicked off yesterday, bringing a touch of magic to the holiday season! Our amazing clinic coordinators, Alicia and Emily, from the Colwood and Langford sites, spent the day engaging with the community about the importance of increased access to healthcare. 💙

Today is Day 2! Stop by from 12-5 to visit our booth, where we’ll be joined by the BC Health Registry. They can help you register for the waitlist to find a family doctor if you’re currently without one. 🩺💬
