Hello beautiful q***r and trans friends, we are Wild Rose Healing Arts, an accessible q***r/trans-run holistic health clinic that was planning to offer free massages and acupuncture sessions and intuitive readings at Transfest as a way to promote the offerings that we are holding in community as q***r and trans body workers.
We have decided to not go to Transfest.
It is important to be in solidarity with local communities holding an event host accountable for using his platform for many years with which he has international status in the names of trans people while being publicly Zionist . This is just not okay.
We are stepping out of being part of the vendor fair at Transfest as an act of solidarity with Palestinians. Cedar is an anti-zionist Jew, and our family is part of an important movement for Palestinian rights and anti-Zionist Jews.
Thank you to all the organizers of Transfest and for this vision.
It's really important that leaders of trans communities do not continue to use their platforms for Zionism.
Not on the backs of trans people.
