We are very excited to announce that we have a new acupuncturist joining our team this weekend!!

Born in Beijing, Jun grew up in an environment deeply rooted in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).
After earning two bachelor’s degrees—one in China and one in Canada, Jun later obtained her diploma as a Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (TCMP) from Pacific Rim College.

She is deeply passionate about acupuncture and dedicated to sharing her knowledge to help others achieve optimal health. She respects each individual’s unique healing journey and is committed to providing personalized care to support her patients.

Before becoming an acupuncturist, Jun owned a Pilates studio, where she helped clients manage pain, recover from injuries, and reduce stress through movement. She has experience treating a wide range of conditions, including chronic pain, depression, insomnia, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), arthritis, and more. She believes in the power of combining acupuncture with other TCM modalities, such as cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, diet therapy, exercise, and herbal medicine, to create a comprehensive and effective healing approach.

We’re super excited to announce our newest team member, Mirella, who will be working at the clinic Wednesdays 7am-3pm and Sundays 12-8pm, starting next week.

Mirella is an east coast transplant who moved to BC for her traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) studies and is now happily living in Victoria.

She loves treating all kinds of cases and has a special interest in learning more about dermatology, autoimmune diseases and chronic conditions among other things. Continuously on the quest for learning new techniques and modalities, Mirella likes integrating the different tools of Chinese medicine like gua sha, cupping, moxibustion, ruina, diet and lifestyle recommendations into her treatments.

She recently completed her training in Mei Zen acupuncture with Dr Martha Lucas in addition to the Acusculpt method from Illya Borreson and will be bringing facial acupuncture treatments to her schedule soon!!

On her own time, she loves doing outdoor activities, checking out consignment stores, animal watching and enjoying sunny days at the beach.

Cascadia Massage and Health Center is super excited to announce our newest Registered Massage Therapist to the clinic, Sophia Jane!!

Sophia will be working on Saturdays from 10am-4pm.

Sophia graduated from Sutherland-Chan (located in Toronto) in 2017 and has worked at various clinics in both Toronto and around BC. She is new to Victoria and is enjoying exploring our beautiful city and getting to know the community.
Sophia’s treatment style involves treatment from a bio-psycho-social perspective (considering the whole person). The foundation of her treatment perspective is working with the nervous system to cultivate a feeling of safety, deep relaxation and rest as it is, in her experience, from this place that our bodies tend to heal most effectively. Sophia is continuously learning more about pain science and evidence based practice as an ever evolving field to apply to her treatments.
Sophia uses a variety of techniques, but tends to treat slowly, using general Swedish techniques, rhythmic movements and compressions, working with the breath and nervous system of each individual.
She enjoys working with patients to reduce feelings of pain and improve movement and general feelings of wellbeing.

We have a great central location with lots of free parking.
