Melissa has completed a Diploma of Massage Therapy at Eastern Academy in St. During completion of the program, she developed a keen interest in manual lymph drainage and its effects on the body. This aspiration led her to expanding her knowledge base of the lymphatic system, at Klose Training in the USA, to become a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) shortly after graduating as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). Melissa is dedicated to being a life-long learner. As a RMT, she has completed training in Cupping Therapy, Myofascial Release, and Neuromuscular Integration and Structural Alignment (NISA), all techniques of massage therapy. Although Melissa has a strong desire to help others, she has not always worked in the health profession. Melissa worked in retail management for five years where she decided to make a career change. Other educational achievements include a Master of Business of Administration degree from the University of Hertfordshire (2007) and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland (2004).

Effective Jan. 10, 2025, all treatments will increase by $5, except for the 60 mins therapeutic massage which will increase by $7, to align with industry standards. Thanks for all your support.
