Our space is cozy and bright and our midwives are passionate about providing excellent care! We work in teams of 4 so you meet your entire team before you give birth, this helps ensure you know your midwife the day you go into labour. Our practice offers choice of birthplace - Victoria General hospital or out of hospital birth. We provide postpartum home visits (we do baby’s bloodwork at your house if indicated too!!) and have several IBCLC lactation consultants at our practice. We are passionate about providing infant feeding support no matter how you feed your baby. Our practice has a policy of providing inclusive care for all families and are committed to creating a space that feels safe and supportive. We look forward to supporting your growing family!

We’re excited to offer acupuncture with .julienne at Earthside Birth as a supportive therapy throughout pregnancy.

Acupuncture can support a wide range of pregnancy-related experiences, including nausea, fatigue, sleep changes, pain or tension, digestion, emotional regulation, breech presentation, and preparation for labour.

Treatments are gentle, individualized, and adapted to each stage of pregnancy.

One recent client shared:
“Hélène is such an amazing acupuncturist who brings a high level of knowledge and care to each treatment. I saw her for nausea and other pregnancy-related symptoms and each treatment was great.”

Hélène has added a few extra clinic days in April to improve access. You can currently find her on the schedule Monday afternoons and evenings, with a few Wednesdays available as well.

Evening appointments tend to fill quickly, so booking ahead is recommended.

Happy Holidays from all of us at Earthside! Some of us managed to get together for a fun holiday gathering - not pictured are all of the boisterous children running around, or the partners and friends in attendance. Getting several midwives in a room together is always a challenge!
