A funeral procession is more than a line of cars — it’s a journey of love and remembrance. It's important to show respect by slowing down and yielding so the procession can stay together, pulling over or stopping safely to let them pass, and keeping quiet by lowering music and avoiding honking.

A brief pause speaks volumes; your kindness offers comfort to grieving families and honours a life respectfully.

When someone loses a loved one, grand gestures aren't always the most meaningful. It's often the simple, heartfelt ones that bring comfort, like sending a meal when words fail or helping them with errands, housework, or childcare.

Our Story

Hatley Memorial Gardens (cemetery) provides 53 acres of tranquil woodland, nestled between Royal Roads University and Galloping Goose Trail. Our natural setting is home to local wildlife and stately, 150-year-old trees. This provides a beautiful atmosphere for one’s final place of rest. Our options include both traditional burial and cremation gardens, as well as dedication products. We are a full-service location with both a funeral home and crematorium on-site.

Our memorial products for any resting place are always personalized. Whether you prefer the simplicity of a dedicated tree or a precisely engraved monument, we work with you one-on-one to ensure the choice reflects a life well-lived.

Hatley is part of the Arbor Memorial family, a Canadian company with a long-standing tradition of exceptional service. Our caring and compassionate staff are active in the community and raise money for local charities every year.
