RSV Clinical Trial
RSV? Consider the AReSVi006 Clinical Trial

Are you at least 60 years of age? We are recruiting participants for a vaccine trial aiming to develop a new vaccine to help protect older adults against Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) infection.

RSV is a highly contagious virus that impacts everyone and in mild cases presents like a common cold. However, RSV can also cause more serious respiratory illness, mainly in older adults and in young infants. Like influenza (flu), RSV is seasonal and common during the winter months in temperate climates. RSV and flu are different viruses; therefore, you can still get an RSV infection even if you have been vaccinated against the flu.

We are open to part-time or full-time applications for both our Victoria and Duncan clinics.

We offer regular working hours from Monday to Friday (no weekends or holidays worked), a competitive salary based on infusion experience, parking allowance, an excellent benefit package and contributory vested pension plan.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• IV skills are preferred but not required
• Critical thinking skills
• Organized, focused and give full attention to detail
• Enjoy a busy environment, able to multitask with initiative; this is a fast-paced clinic
• Compassion and empathy as we deal with persons coping with chronic illness
• Effective communicator comfortable dealing with a wide variety of backgrounds with our patients and medical professionals
• Team player able to work with a very diverse group of individuals
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Initiate IV’s and administer biologic medications as per protocol
• Monitor patient during infusion
• Assess patient for effectiveness of treatment and collaborate with co-workers/ physicians when necessary
• Completion of appropriate post infusion on-line reports

As of September 1st 2020, we are requiring all persons entering or remaining in the clinic must wear a mask or face covering that securely covers the nose, mouth and chin.

Exceptions include those who cannot wear a mask or face covering for medical reasons or children under 2 years of age.

This May we're participating in Workout to Conquer Cancer to get moving and support BC Cancer patients! Our PerCuro team is joining others across the province to move, no matter where we are, every single day of the month.

One in two British Columbians are affected by cancer, that's why we've committed to move and raise funds for patients, survivors and those we've lost. This challenge is more than exercise, it's about a community who believe that we can make an impact, even from our homes.

Whether we run, walk, stretch or squat, every move we make and dollar we raise will be in support of the 77,000 people facing cancer across British Columbia.
