Welcome to the Team, Liv!

Liv is a registered dietitian based in Victoria, BC, though she has lived in Vancouver, Kelowna, Halifax, and Brisbane. With a background in Human Kinetics and Applied Nutrition, she combines science with a supportive, down-to-earth approach to nutrition.

Passionate about helping others build a healthier relationship with food, Liv focuses on making nutrition both nourishing and enjoyable. Her experience spans long-term care, community health, bariatric surgery, women’s health, and weight management. She is committed to providing evidence-based guidance while creating a positive and empowering space for her clients.

Outside of her practice, Liv enjoys spending time with her dog, Benny, teaching spin, reading, and indulging her love of fashion—especially anything leopard print. She is dedicated to helping others feel their best and approaches every client relationship with encouragement, expertise, and a touch of fun.

What’s TDEE and Why Should You Care? 🤔

If you’re on a fitness or nutrition journey, you’ve probably heard the term TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) tossed around. But what does it actually mean? Let’s break it down:

💥 TDEE = the total amount of energy (calories) your body uses in a day. It’s made up of:
1️⃣ BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate): The calories your body needs to keep you alive at rest (think: breathing, circulating blood, etc.).
2️⃣ Activity Levels: Calories burned through exercise, walking, and just living your life.
3️⃣ Thermic Effect of Food (TEF): The energy your body uses to digest food.
4️⃣ Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis (NEAT): All the little movements you do that aren’t intentional exercise (fidgeting, cleaning, etc.).

Why is TDEE important?
👉 For weight loss: Eating fewer calories than your TDEE creates a deficit.
👉 For maintenance: Eating at your TDEE keeps your weight steady.
👉 For muscle gain: Eating above your TDEE supports growth.

Lift Her Strength Program
The first of its kind. An 8-week program focused on encouraging us to lift some heavier weight, increase our lean mass and metabolism, and support each other. Lift Her.

What is included:
✅ 3-day-a-week online workout program (you must have access to some dumbbells or kettlebells. This isn’t a bodyweight program). A simple rec centre membership or a few weights at home should do the trick.

✅ 1 day per week group workout (Victoria and Sparwood locations) + AN ONLINE OPTION where you can workout at home and follow Elissa Carroll to lead the online group in a killer workout. ALSO - the virtual workout will be recorded so if the timing is an issue or you work shift work, you can do the workouts on your own schedule.

Workout times are all on Sundays
Victoria - 9 AM PST
Sparwood - 9:15 AM MT and 10:30 AM MT (when you sign up, pick which spot you want for the full 8 weeks)
Online - 8 AM MT

✅ Two nutrition appointments - one at the beginning and one at the end of the program. If you are in Victoria and Sparwood these appointments can be in person and include a scan. After this appointment, your coach will follow up with custom macros for you.

✅ Weekly group coaching calls and Q&A sessions to further support you and the group. Calls will be on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 PM PST. The calls will also be recorded and sent out the next day if you need to miss one.

✅ Custom SWAG bag included a one-time-only printed t-shirt that I am personally SUPER excited about :)

We want to provide an insane amount of value at an insane price, so we only have 20 spots in each location. Victoria, Sparwood and Online. 20 each for 60 total people.

$320 + GST / person
