The last few days we’ve been busy harvesting a little of our honey from last years frames. We leave the majority of honey for our bees which is why we don’t sell it. Harvesting honey also gives us the chance to get excess wax and cappings melted into beeswax for our products. Lastly we were able to harvest propolis. Propolis is a resinous substance bees collect from tree buds and plant resins. They use it to seal cracks and sterilize their environment. It is also a super food for our health and skin. There will be some exciting new hive to skin blends coming soon!
