On the whole, this practice I have dubbed “Q***r Keratin” is a grand experiment. It is the culmination of years of interest, intersecting with the “right” timing. I have been exposed to the way community is inherently Human for many years, subconsciously knowing this and taking it for granted. When I left my home city, I left behind my network of connections and at the time I was grateful for this fresh start. However, building connections as an adult is far more difficult than I ever realized, and far more necessary than I understood.

The season of spring is a time of renewal, growth and new beginnings. With the days gradually getting longer, nature responds with bright green shoots and tree buds starting to crack open and just like the natural world, our bodies mirrors this experience with the urge for expansion and upward movement. However, the transition from the dark, dormant, heavy energy of the Winter season, this transition might not be the smoothest for everyone and it’s not uncommon to feel internally stagnant, irritable, impatient or even angry while we try to shake off the winter woolies.

Acupuncture is a dose dependent therapy and the benefits are achieved by frequency, and less so by individual doses. Consider how we take medications and supplements, learn a new skill or start an exercise routine – all of these things require COMMITMENT in order to reap the benefits. Therefore, committing to an appropriate treatment plan is key in assisting the gradual process for resolving symptoms and promoting recovery. Here are just a few of the MANY things we've tackled this chilly, blustery, stormy March using Community Acupuncture 🌧🌬🥶

If you are unfamiliar with the wonders of Community Acupuncture, in a nutshell, it is acupuncture treatments offered in a supportive group setting at $30-60 sliding scale rates. We provide treatments consisting of distal points (arms, legs, head, ears) while comfortably
lying in zero gravity recliner chairs.

Acupuncture is a dose dependent therapy and that the benefits are achieved by frequency, and less so by individual doses. Therefore, the

I wanted to thank you both for being a key part of my journey to motherhood.

I’m delighted to say we welcomed our baby boy, Bo on Dec 11th & have been basking in a love bomb ever since 💖

Our dog, Buddy is still a little uncertain though…lol.
