As we emerge from the dark season, something in us begins to stir. Not fully formed. Not fully clear.
A slow unfurl. A stretch from the center.
If winter invited us inward, Spring invites us to begin again. Join me for an in-person workshop:
The Slow Unfurl: Tending the Liver as Spring Emerges
When: March 14 or April 11 | 5:30–8:00pm
Where: Ma Yoga SKY ROOM (Victoria, BC)
Workshop fee: $65

🌱 The Wood Element — and the Liver system it governs — supports our capacity for direction, vision, boundary, and growth. It also holds frustration and anger — natural responses when something feels blocked, constrained, or unjust.
We are living in a time that asks much of our nervous systems. Spring’s rising energy can intensify what is already stirring beneath the surface.
This is an opportunity to practice attuning to the cycles moving within you — rather than pushing against them.
🌀 Growth does not have to be forced.
🌀 Expansion can be gradual.
Season by season, we practice remembering our cyclical nature.
THIS WORKSHOP INCLUDES:
🌱 An introduction to the Wood Element and the Liver system through the lens of Five Ent theory + Tao of Trauma.
🌱 A guided somatic attunement practice exploring what may want to grow, what may feel constrained, what your anger may be protecting, or what direction is quietly forming.
🌱 Restorative acupuncture offered in a small group setting to support the Liver and nervous system.
This is not a space for performance.
It’s a place to meet what is already beginning to move in your body — without needing to explain or resolve it.
You don’t need to arrive certain, energized, or ready.
Just bring your body, as it is.

Space limited to 8 participants.
Two workshop dates offered this season.
