Level 1- BREATH AND BASICS
Monday 4:30pm - 5:45pm
Thursday 11:30am - 12:50pm
A slower class in which more time is spent understanding alignment, function movement and personal mobility. The focus of this class is healthy lifestyle and aging, being able to do what you love pain free with basic Yoga exercises and poses that challenge every body type. A fit for students who are recovering from an injury, those wish to build a stronger mind body connection who prefer to go slow and understand the poses. Great for beginners and experienced practitioners who want to work hard to build muscles, create flexibility and utilize breathing techniques to maintain a healthier life. Explore breath work and reap its huge benefits for a healthy mind, body and nervous system. An opportunity for teachers to learn adaptations to Asana, therapeutic techniques and alignment to keep all students safe and supported for a lifetime of Yoga without injury.
Level 2 - Going Deeper
Thursday 1pm- 2:20pm
A class for students with some Yoga experience who wish to explore more technically challenging poses and breathing techniques. This is a slightly faster paced class in which less detail is given to basic alignment and pose adaptations, so understanding one’s personal physical edge or limitations is beneficial. The focus of this class is to create a strong mind body connection to go deeper into the study of Yogas 8 limbs and learn how to integrate Yoga wisdom into every day life.
