Epic day of snowshoeing at Mount Washington! ✅

Residents and team members hit the trails together for a day filled with fresh mountain air, beautiful snowy views, and lots of laughter along the way. Getting outside, staying active, and enjoying nature together is such a great way to support both our bodies and our spirits—and this adventure definitely delivered!

✈️ What an incredible day exploring the skies!

Berwick Royal Oak recently enjoyed an awesome visit to the British Columbia Aviation Museum, where history truly came to life. From beautifully restored aircraft to fascinating stories about aviation in our province, there was so much to see and learn.

A special shout out to the amazing volunteer tour guides who made the experience so memorable. Their passion, knowledge, and warm welcome made every moment engaging and fun. Everyone loved hearing the stories behind the planes and learning about the people who helped shape aviation history.

Thank you for such a wonderful visit — we’re already looking forward to the next adventure.

What an inspiring day at Soap for Hope in Victoria, BC!

The Berwick House Sustainability Team had the opportunity to tour this incredible organization that transforms gently used hotel soap, linens, and other items into resources that support communities locally and around the world. Learning about how hotel sheets and towels are repurposed — and how discarded soap is turned into brand-new soap “pebbles” — was truly eye-opening.

One resident shared:

“I had no idea it existed. I’ve never been wasteful, and have always been interested in recycling, repurposing etc. It surprised me about them reusing hotel sheets and towels. I was very impressed. It pleased me, it made me feel good.”

In advance of the tour, the Berwick House team had collected used soap so it could be transformed into new soap pebbles — a small action that makes a big impact. ♻️💚

It’s visits like these that spark meaningful conversations about sustainability, community care, and how we can all contribute to positive change — at any age.

Things heated up at our 3rd Annual Chili Cook-Off — and wow, did Berwick on the Park show up! 🌶️🔥

Team members and residents teamed up, brought their secret recipes, and cooked up everything from classic comfort to bold and spicy creations. The house was full as everyone gathered to taste, vote, and cheer on their favourites.

A huge thank you to all of our chefs and taste-testers for making this year’s cook-off the best one yet. Until next year… who’s perfecting their recipe already?

We welcomed the Lunar New Year with joy, colour, and community!

From incredible traditional dishes to hands-on crafts, festive tours, and lively celebrations, the last few weeks in our Berwick communities have been filled with meaningful moments and cultural connection. Residents enjoyed learning about the traditions behind the holiday, sharing stories, and of course — gathering around the table to savour delicious food together.

The decorations were bright, the smiles were even brighter, and the spirit of renewal and good fortune was truly in the air. Here’s to a year of health, happiness, and prosperity for all!

At Berwick on the Park, we know how to make the most of every season — even if that means golfing indoors! ⛳

Last week residents in Kamloops hit the “links” at and brought plenty of energy, laughs, and friendly competition along with them. From choosing iconic courses to celebrating impressive drives (and the occasional mulligan 😉), it was a day full of movement and memories.

We may be in the heart of winter, but we’re still swinging like it’s summer in the Thompson Okanagan!

Things recently heated up (and chilled down!) at our Chef Demo at Berwick on the Lake: Baked Alaska Edition!

Residents gathered for a deliciously dramatic culinary experience as our talented chef showcased how to create the classic Baked Alaska — a dessert that’s as impressive as it is indulgent. From layering sponge cake and ice cream to whipping up the perfect meringue, we watched the magic unfold step by step.

And of course, the grand finale did not disappoint! The golden, toasted meringue sealed in the cool ice cream center, creating that signature contrast of warm and cold in every bite.
