Therapists and supervisors can deepen their self reflective capacity and engage their senses to explore creative perspectives in their work with others. Art making invites us to be fully present.

There are so many benefits I enjoy by using an art based approach to clinical supervision with supervisee’s and supervisors. The exploration allows for a deepening of self reflection in our work, new perspectives to emerge that can guide further therapeutic goals, a connection to self that supports further capacity for presence and compassion.
I am grateful to share this approach and to practice it in my own work.
