Stillpoint Community Acupuncture opened as a response to the high cost and inaccessibility of acupuncture for the average person. By charging for treatments far below the industry standards, we create a healing environment where people from all walks of life and all income brackets can come to be treated. We operate as a 'Social Enterprise' which means that any profits generated get returned to the clinic in the form of hiring more staff, or expanding our hours so we can further benefit our community. Affordable: We offer treatments at a much lower rate than the local average.
2. Effective: Because our patients can actually afford the treatments they really need, their acupuncture is more effective. Acupuncture is cumulative, meaning the more you get the stronger the effect!
3. Natural: Our patients don't have to worry about adverse side effects from their treatments, unless you count relaxation, elevated mood, decreased stress and better sleep "adverse". We are a place to come and get away from it all in a safe and peaceful environment. We first opened our doors in 2011 and since then provided over 100,000 treatments to thousands of people!

It can feel unintuitive, but often what someone needs is not solutions. Rather, they need to work through the emotions they are feeling. In these instances it can be very helpful to ask the person if they would like to be Helped, Heard or Hugged. It's hard to watch our loved ones experience uncomfortable emotions, but if we let them, and just be with them in the way they actually need, we can provide the support they are looking for, instead of just trying to make the problem or emotions go away. ❤
