January 1st often comes with pressure: set goals, make resolutions, change everything. In yoga, we take a different approach - we set intentions.
Resolutions are rigid and outcome-focused. Intentions are gentler. They’re about how you want to live and feel, not just what you want to achieve.
Instead of asking “What should I fix?” we might ask:
✨ What do I want more of this year?
✨ What feels supportive right now?
✨ What helps me feel well, connected, and grounded?
Your intention might be as simple as:
I intend to move my body in ways that feel good.
I intend to be patient with myself.
I intend to care for my nervous system.
Think of your intention as a compass, not a checklist. You can always return to it.
💛 If one of your intentions this year is to move, breathe, and care for yourself more gently, I’d love to support you. I offer online yoga practices you can do from home — slow, nourishing, and accessible for real life.
✨ Set your intention. Begin where you are.
I hope you will consider joining me on the mat in 2026 - please message me to learn more.
