April is IBS Awareness Month in Canada! Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a functional gut disorder, and involves problems with motility (movement of digested food through the intestines) and sensitivity (how the brain interprets signals from the intestinal nerves). This leads to abdominal pain, changes in bowel patterns and uncomfortable symptoms such as bloating, and gas.

Hello everyone! We now accept walk-ins for Flu shots every Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 5pm. Please expect a bit of a wait time as a walk-in, and wait times may vary depending how busy we are with booked appointments.

To Our Valued Customers,

We now have some available regular Pfizer/Moderna vaccines and the new (bivalent) Moderna vaccine appointments. Please book with us under Medicine Shoppe #255 through the link in your vaccine invitation from the government. Unfortunately, we are not taking any walk-ins for the vaccine at this point. Each person in your household has to book an appointment to ensure that we have enough vaccines for all the booked appointments. If you do not see any time slots available with us, please check back again at a later day as we only open bookings depending on staffing and vaccine supplies.

Flu shots are available after Thanksgiving, and an invitation to get the flu shots are also going to be sent out by the government (same way as how you get the Covid vaccine invitation).
