Lughnasadh will be with us soon (August 1) - This is the first of the three autumnal harvest festivals and celebrates the first harvest and the knowledge that summer is ending. It is the ripening time; the sun is at its hottest & is ripening the fruit on the trees & the vines. All of nature is opening to the sun, to bring forth their fruit in abundance.
