ion program. I am all about creating and sharing nourishing recipes, using fresh food in simple ways. I love whole food options but also enjoy life with indulgences sprinkled in. For me, the best meals are made with fresh, good quality food made with fewer ingredients and shared with friends and family. I look forward to collaborating and sharing my passion for people and food with you!

Let me start out by saying that I am all of these things, so I get it ❤️

After a very busy weekend, my energy was SHOT on a soul level and I was so ungrounded and in such a crap headspace that I knew I needed some time for myself.

In this case, that time for myself looked like this. Alone time at the beach. Bare feet in the sand and in the ocean. I felt so much better within minutes. Nature is so f* healing, it’s mind blowing.

Taking care of myself in instances like this isn’t always alone time at the beach (although it’s definitely a fave!), and it doesn’t have to be that for you either.

It can be going for a walk, a drive, meditating, journaling, a bath, a nap, reading, watching trash TV, sitting and staring off into the abyss, or whatever else makes your soul feel full again ✨

We carry a lot on our shoulders with running businesses, raising kiddos to lead their best lives, taking care of a household, feeding yourself and a family, the list goes on and on, but before I overwhelm you and myself, I’ll stop 🤣

You can’t pour from an empty cup. The saying is cliche but so true. You will ALWAYS be your best as a entrepreneur, a mom, a partner, a friend, etc when you’re taking care of yourself on a daily basis. It doesn’t have to be elaborate, simple little things go a long way.

So here’s your reminder to tend to your inner garden and nourish yourself on a spiritual, mental, emotional and physical level 🤍

Being a entrepreneur is a lot. Being a female entrepreneur is a lot. Being a entrepreneur and a mom is A LOT. There’s no sugar coating it. BUT that doesn’t mean you just throw your health out the window (along with your sanity, self care rituals and all the things that fill you up and make you, YOU 💕)

Stress, overwhelm, anger, outbursts, feeling like you’ve lost yourself, poor nutrition, little to no movement of your body, not enough time in nature, physical symptoms of being burnt out, no spiritual practice or connection to a higher power

HIII it’s me 🙋🏼‍♀️ Or I should say, WAS me. I still have my days and/or weeks, but I’ve worked through these things and found simple, realistic and FUN ways to get back to doing these things for yourself, all while still killing it in your business and being the best mama/parent, partner, friend etc.

One of the best parts about laughter, is that it actually has health benefits! A few of them are reducing our stress hormones, lowering blood pressure, triggers the release of endorphins and gives us an overall sense of well-being. So make sure you get in those good belly laughs where your abs start to hurt, the little giggles during conversations, and the laughs where you can’t catch your breath and you have happy tears running down your face 😂 Happy Saturday!

If you’re anything like me, then you’ll want all the answers... like yesterday, you’ll want to plan your life out right now and solve all the worlds problems by tomorrow....ya, not going to happen lol none of it....SO how about instead of attempting the impossible, we take a step back, take a deep breath and remember we can’t control it all, so let’s just keep it simple and make sure we’re happy and adding good things to our life every day. People often say to me “since you’re a holistic nutritionist, you clearly never drink or eat any “bad” foods right?”.....I then start laughing because that’s far from the truth. Do I drink? Yes, but not often at all and never very much. Do I eat “bad” foods? Uh ya...but same deal, not all the time, and not in huge quantities. I’m a normal human, and I have normal cravings and things that I like. I also truly believe that balance is so important in life and completely cutting anything out of your life isn’t healthy, and only makes you want it more. The only time I feel you should totally cut a food/drink out of your life is of course, if you’re addicted to it and it is taking a negative toll on your life, if you’re allergic to it, if you find it negatively effects your body and if you just simply don’t like/enjoy it. So go enjoy your weekend! Treat yourself! In moderation of course 😉

If we’re not growing and moving forward, we’ll stay in the same place forever. No matter what it is that’s happening in your life, always remember that it will some how lead to growth ❤️🌻

It can be SO hard to let go and to trust the universe, but usually when we push our ego aside and let the universe take over, things tend to fall into place quite nicely 💕



How many minutes, hours, days, months, etc do we waste worrying about our next step in all areas of life and our future? Living each day as it comes, and staying in the present is all we can control. Easier said than done, but something to work towards each day 🌻
