Update

Repairs are done and water production resumed at approximately 4:30 a.m., and we now have enough volume to begin distribution. However, current production levels are still not sufficient to meet Fishing Lake’s full demand. As a result, distribution will be slowed for part of the day.

If and were possible could we ask residents to conserve water (were possible) throughout the day to help ensure the system remains stable? Our goal is to have the new system on later this afternoon/evening.

I will continue to provide updates as we make progress on bringing the new MTUs online.

Notice to Fishing Lakers, the Wadena Coop has run out of water jugs, please refill your personal jugs.

Hello everyone,

Unfortunately, the old MTU failed this afternoon. We experienced a piping failure on the train, and as a result, the water plant has once again run out of water. Delco is currently on route to repair the old unit and restore service as quickly as possible

If all goes well water will be restored late tonight with the new equipment online tomorrow.

Again apologies for the inconvenience this is causing.
