✨🍳 Lazy Friday Dinner 🍳🍲🧀

By Friday, my brain is done making decisions.

So instead of asking “What should I eat?” I ask one easier question:

👉 Did I get a solid protein + some fibre?

That’s it.
That’s the whole plan.

Protein (about a palm-sized portion) helps keep energy steady and hunger quiet.

Fibre adds fullness, supports digestion, and keeps blood sugar from doing
gymnastics.

Lazy Friday looks like:
● Eggs + toast + veggies
● Soup with beans, lentils, or chicken
● A cheese board with crackers + fruit or veg
● Or…Lazy Leftovers or finger foods (no cooking involved)!!!

No tracking.
No perfection.

Just two anchors that make meals feel done.

✨ Lowering your mental load is self-care.

Food Fun Friday 🥂
- when the weather keeps you locked inside…

Boxing Day is that weird space where
you’re done socializing,
your body’s asking for a break,
and you don’t want another thing to manage.

So today’s offering is simple:
A mini menopause mocktail.

- Sparkling water.
- A splash of juice.
- Mint or berries if you have them.

It’s hydrating.
It feels festive without alcohol.
And it reminds you that pleasure doesn’t have to be earned.

Prefer something warm?
There’s always tea or hot water with any citrus 🍋‍🟩, herb 🌿 or even fresh ginger 🫚

No resets.
No rules.
Just one small moment that feels good.

Because fun still matters —
especially in midlife.
