ATTIRER DES MÉDECINS DANS LA MRC - Aider nous à diffuser l'information!
La Fondation de la santé Des Collines, en collaboration avec la MRC, la Vigie santé des Collines et le CISSSO, lance une initiative de recrutement pour attirer des médecins. Au cours des 12 derniers mois, nous avons perdu 4 médecins dans les deux GMF de Wakefield. Actuellement, près de 9 000 résidents de la région Des Collines n'ont pas de médecin de famille. Les deux GMF sont en période de recrutement, tout comme le nouveau GMF qui ouvrira à Chelsea l’an prochain.
De plus, la Fondation de la santé investit dans l’aménagement d’espaces au CLSC de Masham et de Chelsea pour y accueillir les services d’un médecin. Jusqu’à présent, nous avons réussi à attirer un médecin qui recevra des patients un jour par semaine à Masham, à compter de juin. Le CLSC de Chelsea sera opérationnel dès septembre et nous souhaitons vivement y accueillir un médecin. Nous voulons également pourvoir les quatre autres jours de la semaine dans les deux emplacements.

ATTRACTING DOCS TO THE MRC - Help spread the word!
The Des Collines Health Foundation along with the MRC, the Vigie santé des Collines and CISSSO are launching a recruitment effort to attract doctors. In the past 12 months, we have lost 4 doctors at the two GMF in Wakefield. At this time, there are close to 9,000 residents in Des Collines without a doctor. The two GMF are recruiting as is the new GMF that will open in Chelsea next year.
In addition, the Health Foundation is investing in the conversion of space at the Masham and Chelsea CLSC to accomodate the services of a doctor. So far, we have been able to attract one doctor who will see patients once a week in Masham, starting in June. The Chelsea CSCL will be operational as of September and we are eager to attract a doctor to fill that spot. We also want to fill the other four days of the week in both locations.
