💻 A Quick Office Update 💻

We wanted to keep everyone in the loop as we work through a few unexpected technical issues in our systems. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding, we truly appreciate it.

• Email & Appointment Reminders:
Some email reminders are being blocked and may not be sending correctly. This also means emails to set up an online booking account or reset passwords may not come through. As we get everything caught up, reminders may be delayed or temporarily incorrect.

• Tax & Monthly Statements:
Tax statements were attempted to be sent on January 1st. Some were delayed and may have arrived labeled as a monthly statement, though they are in fact your tax statement. This issue also affected January monthly statements that were sent on January 5th.

👉 We will be resending monthly statements, so please double-check emails carefully, as you may see a tax statement instead and then a monthly one coming through later.

We’re actively working behind the scenes to resolve everything as quickly as possible. If something doesn’t look right or you’re unsure, please don’t hesitate to call the office, we’re always happy to help. 💛

To help you plan ahead, here are our holiday hours for each doctor:

Dr. Glenn:
• Open: Monday, Dec 22 & Tuesday, Dec 23 (normal hours)
• Open: Wednesday, Dec 24 (8:00am– noon)
• Closed: Dec 25–Jan 4
• Regular schedule resumes: Monday, Jan 5

Dr. Adam:
• Open: Monday, Dec 22
• Closed: Dec 23–28
• Open: Monday, Dec 29 & Tuesday, Dec 30
• Closed: Dec 31–Jan 4
• Regular schedule resumes: Monday, Jan 5

If you’re unsure what you’re booked for or need to reschedule due to travel, please reach out sooner rather than later, we’re always happy to help 🤍

Update: Resolved

Municipal staff would like to advise residents of two water main breaks:
📌 Ridout Street between Bill Street and McGivern Street, and
📌 Yonge Street between Park Street and Second Ave.

Crews are on site working and residents in the area may experience loss of water while repairs are underway.

We thank residents for their patience while we repair the issue and request they by-pass the area if possible.

🎁 WALKERTON… YOU DID IT! ❤️

We are absolutely blown away.
Every year, this community reminds us what the season of giving is truly all about, and this year, you showed up in a big way for local families.

Thanks to your kindness, our 20th Annual Toys for Tots & Gift Drive was another incredible success! All gifts and monetary donations will be distributed through the Walkerton & District Optimist Club and Walkerton & District Food Bank to support children and teens right here at home.

✨ This year you helped us collect:
• 267 gifts (for ages 0–16 , toys AND non-toy essentials!)
• $2180 in monetary donations, including $1,000 matched by our doctors

These funds help purchase items that are often requested but rarely donated — things like warm clothing, winter boots, pajamas, hygiene products, and other meaningful gifts that make Christmas brighter for local families.

Over the past 20 years, this community has now contributed over 4500 gifts and over $10,000 in donations. What an incredible legacy of generosity.
