What an incredible evening of celebration and support for local health care! Through your generosity, we raised an outstanding $172,462 in support of our X-ray Suite+ Replacement Campaign!

We extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every person who volunteered their time to make this event possible and our gala committee and solicitors who spent countless hours planning and preparing. To our emcees who kept the evening on track, our auctioneers who helped raise over $60,000 through the live auction & ticket draw, to every person who purchased a ticket, bought an auction item, fund-a-need piece or donated in any way, our corporate sponsors & monetary donors, in-kind donors and everyone else who contributed to the success of the Lights & Shadows Gala, we thank you!

✨CAMPAIGN UPDATE✨

The Walkerton & District Hospital Foundation is pleased to share positive news about its X-Ray Suite Replacement Campaign. Thanks to updated pricing and careful planning, the project will now cost less than originally anticipated, while delivering even more diagnostic capability for the community.

In addition to the new X-ray suite, the hospital will now also acquire a new ultrasound unit, further strengthening diagnostic imaging services available to patients. The combined cost of the new X-ray suite and ultrasound unit is $1.281 million.
