I am happy to say, as of June 1st I will be starting to see clients again. I have been working hard the last few weeks implementing all the measures to keep you, my clients and my self as safe as possible. With direction from my governing body, the CMTO, Public Health and the Ministry of Health I will be seeing essential needs clients first. Dr. Jeremy Toman H.BSc, ND
Wanting an understanding of how life works lead me to study Biochemistry at the University of Waterloo after which I furthered this curiosity by becoming a naturopathic doctor. After graduating from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, one of seven accredited colleges across Canada and the US, I wanted to come back to the area that I grew up in since the city really isn’t for this country boy. I practice holistic family medicine that uses natural therapies and have seen patients ranging from 1 years old to 97. My goal in providing natural healthcare is to raise my patients quality of life and to help them better understand how to take care of their own health. Naturopathic medicine has been a registered profession in Ontario since the 1920’s and most extended health benefit packages have some coverage. In my spare time I enjoy living an active lifestyle playing team sports such as soccer and volleyball as well as spending time socializing with friends and playing board games.

Janet Hayes B.A. Honours Kin
Janet is a Kinesiologist and Physio Aid. She graduated from University of Western Ontario in June 2004 where she received her Bachelor of Arts Honours Kinesiology. She recently joined our team in May 2015 after 5 years of experience in geriatric rehabilitation in Long-Term Care. Janet brings with her an interest focusing on group exercise for seniors to improve balance, flexibility and strength. Janet’s time is spent with her husband and 2 young daughters outdoors: camping, snowmobiling, fishing and reading.

Wendy Baines P.T., B.Sc.PT, M.C.P.A.
Wendy is a registered physiotherapist and the owner of Partners Physiotherapy Service. She graduated in 1981 from the University of Toronto. Her background includes 12 years as physiotherapist and Director of Rehab Services in a hospital setting as well as a number of short term and relief positions in a variety of private clinics and rural community hospitals. In 1994, Wendy opened her own independent private practice. Her vision continues to be to provide and support community based healthcare through knowledge, collaboration, compassion and partnership. She is married, has 2 wonderful, grown children, a son-in-law and a ‘grand’ dog. She loves to walk, swim, do Yoga and Zumba. She also loves to spend time with family and friends and dabble in sewing and photography when time permits.

Yvonne Batte R.M.T., C.S.F.I.
Yvonne is a registered massage therapist and the owner of Total Body Wellness. She graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Kitchener. She worked her first two years in a multidisciplinary clinic before opening her own in 2009. For the last 7 years her clinic offers naturopathic medicine, physiotherapy and massage therapy. She is also a certified senior fitness instructor, certified by the Canadian Centre of Activity and Aging from Western University in 2008. Total Body Wellness’ vision continues to be to provide a multidisciplinary healthcare clinic for our community. Yvonne is married with 2 grown sons, 2 daughter in-laws and 4 wonderful grandchildren. She loves to swim, cycle, teach her activation classes and spend time with family and friends.

Partners Physiotherapy Service is excited to announce we are transitioning our practice to Walkerton on a full time basis beginning August 4, 2015.

Three years ago we launched a satellite office at Total Body Wellness in Downtown Walkerton to better serve our region. We are confident that a full time move to Walkerton will not only ensure we service regional clients in the best manner possible, but also enhance our ability to cater to our client with a more individualized service.

Partners Physiotherapy Service will continue to offer our proven physiotherapy service to our clients. We will also work alongside an established Massage Therapist and Naturalpath at our Walkerton location.

We are excited about this transition and look forward to bringing you the attentive and individualized professional service you expect.
