A few of us took a hike next door to our neighbours, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to tour Thousands of Nativities. What a beautiful breathtaking display, it is unmatched. We walked quietly (no cellphones) through the displays. We at Maple Court highly recommend visiting and doing the tour. Everyone is welcome. admission is free it is open now till Sunday November 30th. Weekdays 1:00pm-9:00pm and Weekends Saturday 9:00am - 9:00pm.

On November 10, Maple Court hosted a Flu and COVID-19 vaccine clinic for both residents and staff. We were pleased to see such a strong turnout, with many taking the opportunity to protect themselves and our community as we head into the winter season.
A special thank-you to the pharmacists to Loblaw Pharmacy in Hanover for coming onsite and providing such professional, efficient, and friendly service. Their support helps keep our home healthy and prepared.

We’re truly honoured to work alongside our local children, schools, community groups, and community partners to prepare over 1000 handwritten messages of gratitude for veterans in our community.

As the poppy display come down today, our team will deliver these beautiful messages of gratitude to local veterans.

Thank you for supporting the Poppy Project for the fifth year running. Your support not only honours our veterans, it also teaches our children the importance of remembrance, gratitude, and community. We appreciate you all so much ❤️

We’re thrilled to welcome Andy Schornagel to the Maple Court team as our new Culinary Services Manager!

Andy has been passionate about cooking since the age of 16. Over the years, he’s worked across the food industry — from line cook to manager — gaining experience in catering, fine dining, and retirement living.

He’s excited to bring his skills and heart for home-style cooking to Maple Court. Andy’s favourite meal to prepare is Pork Chops with Mushroom Gravy, and his cooking style focuses on hearty soups, stews, and comfort dishes that warm the soul.

“I believe residents deserve to truly enjoy their dining experience,” Andy shares. “I’m looking forward to using my skills to ensure everyone is well fed, happy, and feels cared for.”

Welcome to Maple Court, Andy — we can’t wait to see (and taste!) the wonderful meals you’ll bring to our table. 🍽️
