Join us this afternoon at Oaks Retirement Village as our staff and management team go head-to-head serving up a variety of delicious, homemade chilis! Come taste them all and help us decide who takes home 🥇 1st, 🥈 2nd, and 🥉 3rd place!

🎶✨ Thursday Pub Vibes at The Oaks ✨🎶

Our Thursday Pub was filled with movin’ and groovin’ tunes from the wonderful Paul White Entertainment! 🎤🕺 Residents were singing along, tapping their toes, and enjoying every moment of the music.

This was Paul’s first time here at Oaks Retirement Village, and we certainly can’t wait to have him back again!

🏀 The March Madness Games! 🐞🐝

Today our residents split up into two spirited teams — the Lady Bugs and the Bees — for a fun-filled day of friendly competition! 💪

They competed in a series of fitness challenges that focused on a variety of skills, teamwork, and lots of laughs. The games kicked off with an exciting relay race that got everyone moving and cheering, and the day wrapped up with an energetic game of volleyball. 🏐

The team spirit was loud, proud, and absolutely contagious! Who doesn’t love a little friendly competition? ❤️

To celebrate all of their hard work, everyone enjoyed a delicious ice cream treat at the end of the games 🍦 and proudly received participation ribbons for their amazing efforts. We are so proud of our residents and the enthusiasm they bring to every activity! 🎉

Join us for an afternoon full of wonder and laughter! This magical event is open to guests 50+, with tickets just $5.00. Prepare to be amazed!

👗 Fashion Show with Tropical Tan – May 9
We’re excited to partner with Tropical Tan for a fabulous afternoon of fashion and fun! Tickets are $10.00.

🎟️ Don’t forget — we’ll be hosting cash-only 50/50 draws at both events, giving you a chance to win while supporting our community celebration!

🎫 Tickets can be purchased at Oaks Retirement Village from Monday to Friday 8:00am-3:30pm up until the event date. Limited quantities are available, so be sure to get yours before they’re gone!

🌷🐦 Spring is in the air - Acorn Lane! 🐦🌷

The first signs of the season are here — we’ve spotted some robins hopping around and it has everyone feeling excited for the warmer, brighter days ahead! ☀️

Our residents are already getting into the spring spirit by pulling out their creative sides and painting beautiful birdhouses for our courtyard. 🎨🏡 Each one is unique and filled with personality — we truly can’t wait to see all the wonderful designs they come up with!
