A day late on here but… happy international woman’s day! Our bodies as women go through so many ups and downs and changes through out our life time. We need to celebrate our bodies and what they have done. So many times I will look at my body and I won’t like what I see. Then I need to remind myself my body has been through 7 pregnancies, 5 of which were losses, I gave birth to two beautiful girls in different ways, one c-section and one vaginal birth. I want to encourage you to celebrate your body and celebrate being a woman!

October is infant loss awareness month. We lost three babies between our girls. .co made this incredible digital illustration of my family and my angel babies with Jesus. I will cherish this forever.

My first born is five years old today. I cannot believe five years ago I became a mom for the first time. There was so much I had wished I would have known and there was such a lack of postpartum care after having a c-section. I have learned so much about the value of Doulas during birth and in the postpartum as well.

Happy national breastfeeding week. I had an amazing journey breastfeeding my two girls. My first born was for 14 1/2 months and my second oldest is 18 months and counting. I am here to support you in any journey you take in feeding your new baby whether it be breastfeeding, pumping and bottle feeding, formula feeding etc. I have experience in formula feeding three foster babies, pumping to donate, pumping to feed, and breastfeeding. Fed is best and I want to support you in whatever decision you make for you and your baby.

Hello and welcome to my postpartum doula page. You may know me personally or maybe you just stumbled across my page. I wanted to make this post to explain a little bit as to what a postpartum doula does and why people hire them. Postpartum doulas come to your home and help you and your family welcome a new bundle of joy into your home. Once you have given birth or if you have adopted a baby there are going to be several transitions in your home. Maybe you were just used to it being you and your significant other, or maybe this is baby number 2, 3 or even 7. Everyone could use a postpartum doula as a means of support. I am here to do light house work, prep meals, set up a meal train, provide tips with breastfeeding, help with suggestions and nutrition for postpartum care, taking care of older children while you bond with your baby, holding your baby while you sleep, or shower, pick up your groceries, and so much more. I will be finishing up my website soon but feel free to also email me now if you or someone you know is in need of a postpartum doula. I will have an hourly rate for days and nights as well as a few packages to chose from and options for payments. I hope you are having a wonderful week so far.
