Having a weekly “theme” for suppers each night of the week makes meal planning so much quicker and helps reduce decision fatigue.
Our personal theme nights and how I utilize these:
Monday - taco or quesadilla night 🌮
Tuesday - stir fry night 🍜
Wednesday - pasta night 🍝
Thursday - nourishing bowl night 🥗
Friday - order in night 🍗
Saturday - pizza or wrap night 🍕
Sunday - soup night 🍲
From here, all I need to do is find recipes that fit my theme (or use some of my tried and true recipes!) and suppers are planned! Here is an example of how I’m planning my meals this week to fit my “themes”
Monday - classic ground turkey tacos on whole wheat wraps (make extra ground turkey)
Tuesday - vermicelli noodle bowls with leftover ground turkey from Monday + fresh veggies
Wednesday - creamy lemon chicken spaghetti with sourdough pasta (Nourish) + broccoli
Thursday - dragon bowl nourishing bowls (recipe on our insta)
Friday - summer roll order in - chicken cold rolls! 😉
Saturday - chicken, turkey bacon “ranch” wraps using ranch it up dip mix (Nourish) with a side of baked kale chips (make extra turkey bacon)
Sunday - high protein potato and bean soup using leftover turkey bacon from Saturday (recipe on our insta)
