Cold weather can make us forget to drink - but our bodies still need steady hydration to support energy, digestion, focus, and mood.

If cold water isn’t appealing, try:
☕ Herbal teas
🍋 Warm lemon water
🍲 Soups and broths (yes, they count!)

Hydration doesn’t have to be cold or complicated.
💡Tip: keep a mug near you - it's a visual reminder to drink!

Mid-January check-in 😅

If your “new habits” look more like slower mornings, extra layers, or choosing rest when your body asks for it — that still counts.

Wellness doesn’t have to be all-or-nothing.
Gentle counts. Consistency looks different in winter 💜

Drop a ❄️ if January is asking you to move a little slower.

New Year, Real You Challenge

Week two is about movement as support, not punishment.

This week’s focus is simple:
✨ Move your body in ways that feel kind, doable, and grounding.

✨ This week’s challenge:
Each day, choose one small movement reset:
✔3–5 minutes of gentle movement
✔One posture check-in
✔ A short walk or stretch
✔ A mobility exercise you already know and trust

You can repeat the same movement all week or change it daily — consistency matters more than variety.

This isn’t about intensity, burning calories, or pushing through discomfort.
It’s about reminding your body that movement can feel safe, supportive, and accessible.

💬 If you’d like, share your movement moment with us — tag us, comment, or save this post to come back to later. Quiet participation counts too.

💜 Small movements, done consistently, can make a big difference.

As the week comes to a close, this is an invitation to pause — not to analyze or fix, just to notice.

Ask yourself:
✨What are you leaving behind from this week?
(stress, expectations, tension, noise)
✨What is one thing that went well?
✨What is one thing your body carried or handled for you?
✨What can wait until tomorrow?

You don’t need answers for all of it.
Even noticing is enough.💜

Wishing you a gentle close to the week 💜

Ongoing learning is a key part of how we provide thoughtful, evidence-informed care at Warman Physiotherapy & Wellness 💜

Haylie, Physiotherapist and Clinic Owner, recently completed the Pediatric Pelvic Health Summit, marking year 3 of 3 participating in this international continuing education event.

Continuing education allows our team to stay current, reflective, and responsive to the evolving needs of the individuals and families we work with. We’re proud to prioritize professional growth — not just once, but consistently over time.

Sometimes self-care isn’t about doing more — it’s about choosing what fits your energy today.

☀️ Morning Movement or 🌙 Evening Wind-Down
📖 Reading or 🎧 Audiobook
🚶 Walking or 🧘 Stretching
✍️ Journaling or 🌬️ Talking it Out

There’s no “better” option here.
Both choices count. Both support your body and nervous system in different ways.

Tell us — which ones are you choosing today? 👇
And if your answer is “it depends”… that counts too 💜

New Year, Real You Challenge

Week one is all about creating space.

Not by doing more — but by gently letting go of what’s adding unnecessary noise to your days.

✨This week’s challenge:
Each day, choose one small way to clear the noise:
🧠Write down 3 things on your mind
🧽Clear one bag, drawer, or surface
📱Replace one scroll with a stretch
🗣️Pause for 60-90 seconds to breathe

Pick one option per day — or repeat the same one all week.
There’s no checklist to complete and no need to do everything.

This isn’t about productivity or perfection.
It’s about helping your nervous system settle and giving yourself a softer start to the year.

💬 If you’d like, share along the way — tag us, comment, or post a story of your reset moment. Or follow quietly. Both count.

💜 Small moments of space can make a big difference.

As the holidays wind down and routines start to pick back up, it’s normal to feel a little tired, scattered, or overwhelmed. The transition back to “busy” can be just as demanding as the holidays themselves.

This is your reminder that self-care right now doesn’t need to be perfect or time-consuming.

Post-holiday self-care can look like:
🤍 Starting your day a few minutes slower
🤍 Choosing one priority instead of ten
🤍 Moving your body gently
🤍 Eating regularly, even when life feels rushed
🤍 Giving yourself grace as you find your rhythm again

You’re allowed to ease back in.
Busy doesn’t mean you have to ignore yourself.

Wishing you a steady, supportive return to routine from all of us at Warman Physiotherapy & Wellness. 🤍

January doesn’t need to be about fixing yourself.
It doesn’t need extreme goals, rigid routines, or pressure to become someone new.

This January, we’re inviting you to try something different.

✨ The New Year, Real You Challenge ✨
A gentle, weekly reset designed to help you build healthy habits in realistic, supportive ways — one small step at a time.

Each week in January will focus on a simple theme:
• Clearing the noise
• Moving your body with kindness
• Nourishing yourself without restriction
• Supporting your mental well-being

No perfection required.
No “all-or-nothing” mindset.
Just small, evidence-informed habits that help you feel more like you again.

You can join in as much or as little as you’d like — one day, one week, or the whole month. Save the posts, check in when you can, and take what you need.

💬 And if you’d like to share along the way, we’d love to see it!
Feel free to comment, tag us, or share a story of you doing the challenge — or simply follow along quietly. There’s no right way to participate.

💜 Because the goal isn’t a new you.
It’s supporting the real you.
