Great news! Covered physiotherapy assessments are now available for you!

If you do not have benefits and have a joint or muscle concern (like a sore shoulder, knee, elbow, ankle or wrist), you can book directly in with Matt Sheldon, physiotherapist, for an assessment before you come to see me! This appointment will help with diagnostic clarification and give you some guidance on what you can do at home to start to get better. He will communicate directly with me and, if needed, refer you back to me for further management.

IMPORTANT - this appointment is NOT at my office, but at the Shoreline Clinic in Wasaga Beach, located at 160 Beck Street.

To align fees with inflation and provincial standards, including fees charged at local clinics, there will be an increase in uninsured service fees starting November 1, 2025. Annual plan price is staying the same :)

Most notable change will be the increase in fee for prescription renewal without a visit, moving from $20 to $25. As a reminder, appointments are always an option for prescription renewals to avoid charges.

Loved this from Dr. Madura Sundareswaran (regarding some of the potential changes resulting from Ontario’s Primary Care Action Plan, specifically the desire to attach 2 million patients to the currently practicing, maxed out, family medicine physicians): “Rushed, expensive, and poorly planned reforms that focus on quantity, not quality is not good for patient care. Failing to address the core issues with primary care – demonstrated by fewer and fewer family physicians choosing to practice comprehensive, community-based family medicine – is resulting in top-down, expensive, and band aid solutions to the primary care crisis. It edges on careless spending on taxpayer dollars. We should advocate for a system that prioritizes sustainable, safe and equitable care – not just a solution for tomorrow. “

I have 3 COVID vaccines available in clinic (Moderna) to be given before 3PM today! If you are able to come in and would like one, give me a call 705 241 7607. Need 6 month interval at least since last dose or infection.
