Mabon is the Wiccan term for the Autumn Equinox
It is the first official day of fall and is also known as the Witches Thanksgiving. It is time to say farewell to Summer and embrace the start of fall, and also saying farewell to the long days of Summer.
Mabon's Mother Modron, Rhiannon, Demeter, Persephone, Iinanna.
Mabon blessings are simply granting someone good wishes and prayer for prosperity, health, and long life.
Mabon divination is one of our favorite things to do on Sabbats like Mabon which is to divine. Divination is a method used by magical practitioners to see into the past, present, and future. It allows us to speak to the spirit world: To the gods, ancestors, fairies, angels, and much more.
On a day like Mabon, where the energies of the earth are balanced with the energies of the otherworld, divination is that much more powerful.
How do you use the Mabon Spell Bag?
Hang the Mabon spell bag on your front door until the Autumn season has ended. Then bury the acorn near the front door, cleanse and re use the bell and crystals.
It is the only Sabbat to cast spells when balance is needed in our lives.
SYMBOLS- Cornucopia, literally "horn of plenty", dry leaves, wine, grapes, swan, crystals, herbs, flowers.
Grapes in ancient times coincided with introversion, the descent into hell or the journey to Hades.
