Things we hear all the time after a first appointment:

• “I should’ve done this sooner.”
• “My feet feel so light.”
• “I didn’t even realize how much discomfort I had.”
• “That didn’t hurt at all.”
• “Why was I so nervous?”
• “They look SO much better.”
• “Walking already feels easier.”
• “I’ve been dealing with this for years…”
• “I’m happy I brought my mom/dad in, they can’t do it themselves anymore.”
• “I can’t believe the difference.”

The truth is—most people wait way longer than they need to.
Foot discomfort, skin concerns, and nail issues don’t always go away on their own…book your initial visit if you have any questions or concerns.

Not all orthotics are one-size-fits-all—and they shouldn’t be.

This is the same foot, but two different orthotic designs:

✔️ Half-length for running & dress shoes
✔️ Full-length for work boots

Why? Because your footwear, activity level, and daily demands all influence the type of support your feet may need.

How your foot is assessed, along with the materials used for manufacturing, plays an important role. Different scanning or casting methods and materials can lead to variations in orthotic design and fit, which can be tailored to individual anatomy and function.

Selecting specific materials and assessment techniques helps us provide orthotics tailored to your needs.

Why This Toe Wound Wouldn’t Heal (Until Now) ⬇️

Shown above is a chronic apical wound caused by persistent pressure and underlying deformity.

A targeted tenotomy was performed to relieve apical pressure — allowing the area to finally heal.

➡️ 2 weeks post-op
➡️ Minimal pain
➡️ No downtime
➡️ Walking normally

Sometimes addressing the root cause of pressure is the key to successful healing.

This is your sign that non-healing wounds don’t have to stay that way.

Hope everyone had a great long weekend! ☀️

After a few days of being on your feet more than usual—walking, standing, or wearing different shoes—it’s common to notice foot fatigue, soreness, or even changes like dry skin or irritation.

This is your reminder to give your feet a little extra care:
• Moisturize to prevent cracks and dryness
• Check for any redness, blisters, or nail changes
• Wear properly fitting, supportive footwear
• Don’t ignore persistent discomfort

Small steps now can prevent bigger issues later. Your feet carry you through everything—take care of them! 💙

Bunion taping — a simple option that can make a big difference. 👏

Not everyone loves toe spacers… and that’s okay. Taping can be a great alternative to help gently guide the big toe into a better position, reduce friction, and ease discomfort throughout the day.

It’s especially helpful for those who want something low-profile that fits easily into shoes without the bulk. Think of it as a little extra support while you’re on your feet 💭

Now let’s be real — it’s not a permanent fix. Taping won’t replace custom orthotics or surgery when those are needed, but it can be a great tool to manage symptoms and keep you moving comfortably.

Foot care isn’t one-size-fits-all — it’s about finding what works best for you!

Small shoes, big impact 👣

These two images show a patient presenting with toenail damage caused by wearing shoes that were too short. Repetitive microtrauma from the end of the shoe can lead to thickened, ridged nails over time.

Conservative treatment was performed to help thin and reshape the nail, and this is her 2-month follow-up showing progress.

Footwear tip: always ensure 5–10 mm of space between the longest toe and the end of your shoe to prevent the toes from repeatedly hitting the front during walking.

NEW SERVICE 🚨

We now remove warts by charging them rent.

Most can’t afford it… they leave within 30 days.

Warts are more common than you think!

They’re caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV) and can be picked up through direct skin contact or from surfaces like locker rooms, pools, or shared footwear. Even tiny cuts in the skin can make it easier for the virus to enter.

If you’ve noticed a stubborn bump that won’t go away, it might be time to get it checked and treated safely ✨

You’re not alone — and forcing it can actually make things worse.

Thickened nails can happen from:
• Fungal infections
• Trauma (even from tight shoes)
• Aging or circulation changes
• Underlying health conditions

Trying to cut them at home can lead to:
pain, splitting, or even infection.

✨ The good news: there are safe, effective treatment options. From professional nail care to reducing thickness comfortably and managing the cause long-term.

If your nails are getting harder to manage, it’s time to get them properly assessed.

This patient presented with a cyst. (often found on the big toe or second toe).

While it may start small, cysts can become increasingly uncomfortable—especially with pressure from shoes or daily activity.

Because of the location, this type of cyst can cause tenderness, throbbing, and irritation over time.

Is it painful?
Cysts themselves can be quite sore, especially when inflamed. During the procedure, we take steps to keep you comfortable, but it’s normal to experience some sensitivity both before and after removal as the area heals.

This patient will now be healed and ready for sandal season ☀️

If you’re noticing a bump, swelling, or persistent toe pain—don’t wait. Early treatment can make all the difference!
