Georgian Family Chiropractic Welcomes New Registered Massage Therapist to the Team!

We are excited to share that starting January 7, 2026, Branimir Hrkac will be taking on new and existing patients at Georgian Family Chiropractic and Wellness Centre (Wasaga Beach location).

Branimir Hrkac attended CCMH (Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy) and graduated from OCHT (Ontario College of Health and Technology). During his time there he worked with members of the general public, athletes, and palliative care patients constantly striving to help patients in their recovery. Branimir has also received training in Cupping and in Equine Massage Therapy during his years as an RMT. Now he is looking to provide great and effective care to the people of the Wasaga Beach area!

Branimir will be available on Wednesdays (9am-5:30pm) and Thursdays (2pm-7pm). He will be providing 30min, 45min, 60min, and 90min massage options as well as cupping therapy when requested. You do not need to book in as a new patient to see Branimir. New forms will be sent to your email to complete before your first appointment with him.

The cost for the massage therapy services have not changed. They remain:
30 min - $55 + HST
45 min - $75 + HST
60 min - $90+ HST
90 min -$130 + HST

When should I get Acupuncture if I’m trying to conceive?

It’s important to see your Registered Acupuncturist on certain key days in order to improve your chances of conception. Be sure to visit when you are Ovulating (around days 14-15) because acupuncture can help with egg maturation and aid with blood flow to the uterus. Next, be sure to come back during your Luteal Phase (days 16-28). Acupuncture can help with anxiety and emotional stress during the luteal phase, as well as aid implantation. A little about Dr. Kassandra:

Originally from a small beach town in eastern Ontario, Dr. Kassandra began her undergraduate education at Queen’s University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with honours. She then went on to obtain her doctorate of chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and graduated with Suma Cum Laude distinction.

Dr. Kassandra is an evidence-based family chiropractor who enjoys treating patients of all ages from newborns to older adults. Dr. Kassandra is passionate about helping her patients feel and move better through conservative pain management, exercise rehabilitation, and injury prevention. She is committed to providing a safe and comfortable environment for her patients by incorporating patient-centered care.

Dr. Kassandra’s approach to chiropractic care includes a diversified technique incorporating manipulative therapy, mobilization, soft tissue therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education. Her main goal is to listen to her patients’ concerns, find the root cause of their pain, and provide evidence-based care emphasizing pain prevention.
