Today was my last injection day !
Next week I will call the doctor to setup an appointment for a checkup and schedule all my tests….. Oh my god let the fun begin … 🚗💃🏻🎉🎊
I sadly am a causality of drug adverse reactions and taking one drug to avoid one problem leads to a chain of all new problems! Ugh !!!!!!!!

When the doctor says “ well sadly you tanked your system “ doesn’t mean you lost any weight! lol
It means you won the boobie prize and months of drugs and injections!

Stay tuned for the doctors rein of terror ! All I know is I am happy this part is over and having my husband STAB me while he giggles with delight 🕺🏻 is very unnerving and somewhat sinister!!!!!! LMFAO

And so it begins……. Yup…. We are taking down names and filling in our calendar for this year !
I wish, there are so many other wonderful shows we could attend and places we would love to go and see our friends…. But we have scheduling issues with Dave’s nurses , Nicks concerts and my fabulous artisan shows.

I start off every year looking at applications and dates and then I try and see if help is available , location of venue , supply and finally if this old chick can withstand the hours and inventory management.

All I can say I will try my best to be there, be happy and excited to see everyone.
My supplies are on order and my calendar is posted,so that anyone on my crew can say YES OR NO !

If they say NO ….. then they are immediately sent to their rooms with no dinner ! LMFAO !

Well Jan 1 st , 2026 was opening day for applications to be an artist at the BARNTIQUE 🥰

The application was easy to fill out, the questions were easy to answer…. But yikes the photo submission was tough…in the way me trying to be funny or professional! So I will leave the question up to everyone which one I submitted! lol

The beautiful old barn has been our home since the doors have been opened… but like everyone, artists must apply in application and photo submission. The Barntique has a jury of artists, who help pick who is going into the barn this year . So once again I sweat it out, fingers crossed they have us back again 🙏🏽

If you’re an artist..APPLY.. every year it’s exciting to see old faces and meet new ones.

The grand old barn holds over 150 artists every season… it’s unbelievable how everyone fits inside and even artists spill out to the walkway at its entrance.

Anyway my fingers are crossed and my hopes are high ❣️ that the old bag lady will be back again.

A special time of the year to thank all our hosts and retailers for having such a successful year. It was so crazy that we needed an emergency run to the grain mill because we totally ran out of oats !

Then to make things even worse I started to have small falls and started to become dizzy. I banged up my knees and pain medications with my system really do not mix. I sadly was even too sore to even pop out to the hot tub ! Yikes that’s a major problem!

So over the holidays I promised to be a good girl , rest and go downstairs with help.

The saddest day ever…. Too sick to go in personally, but lucky enough to have Nick pop in and bring home what little stock I have left there.
Yes a perfect chance to bring items home and plan for next year !
Thank you to our hosts the Hewitson’s for allowing us to camp out for the 2025 season…. It has been spectacular as always.

So I will rest up and get ready for next year !
