Waterloo Region, Ontario CA Chapter Ambassador: Rebecca R. As the premier global community of fibroids patients, our mission is to amplify the voice of people living with fibroids. We intentionally create and support initiatives to find a cure for fibroids by advocating for ongoing funding of patient-sensitive fibroids research. We strive to erase the ‘Stigma of Silence’ around menstrual health and minimize treatment disparities with layered patient support by creating and supporting initiatives to find a . Our innovative programs, strategic initiatives, and powerful partnerships directly reach patients in their daily lives and healthcare providers in their daily practice. We take a multi-faceted approach to fibroid education. By developing a collaborative partnership with fellow patients and healthcare providers, we foster a supportive relationship where informed people regularly have proactive conversations with trusted providers. Research to find the right physician for you. Ideally, your doctor should work with you to customize a treatment, creating a plan that combines your goals for treatment with their expertise. Remember to make a list of medications and supplements you're currently taking and bring it with you.
