Dr. Bender is away for the month of July. Dr. Kieswetter has openings for telemedicine appointments, and we can schedule in-person consults when it is deemed necessary.

We are still filling orders, using "porch pickup" so you must know what you want, order ahead, and arrange pickup and payment. Thank you for your patience with our gradual re-opening process.

Waterloo Naturopathic Clinic is happy to announce our gradual reopening on June 9, 2020 for appointments only (Dr. Bender will NOT be offering walk-in days at this time). For those needing products, we will continue to offer scheduled porch pickups. Therefore, patients must call ahead and order their supplements. This will allow us to follow social distancing guidelines as best as possible.

Dr. Bender and Dr. Kieswetter will continue offering virtual and phone consults as well, unless we deem an in person appointment necessary. For the time being, the office will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays 9-5pm for pickups and scheduled appointments.

We will be strictly following all necessary guidelines from our regulatory body to ensure everyone’s health and safety. Please be patient with us as we gradually reopen our office. We are all looking forward to seeing and serving you!

Unfortunately Naturopathic Doctors were not part of Ontario's Phase 1 reopening announcement today. However, we will continue to offer porch pick-ups on Tuesdays and Thursdays 9-5pm and our Naturopathic Doctors also continue to provide essential care via telemedicine. We look forward to opening our doors when we are given the go ahead. Have a great long weekend!🌞

Dr. Bender is scheduling follow-up consultations by phone or online. Fortunately, we have heard from one insurance company that will cover these, and we hope more insurance companies will follow suit.

Also, we are currently still doing a "curbside pick-up" concept for refills/orders. You must arrange your order in advance, and coordinate a time to pickup on Tuesdays or Thursdays 9am-5pm. Please phone our office for your refills or appointments.

Happy EARTH Day everyone! We are blessed to have a beautiful office location with beautiful views, trees and even wildlife. Not so typical for being so close to downtown Waterloo. Hope everyone is able to enjoy some of the sunny breaks today!

Clinic Update: We hope everyone is staying healthy and taking some time to prepare some healthy meals, enjoy better sleep and continue to exercise in whatever way works in your schedule. We also hope you are able to enjoy some sunshine whenever possible, while complying with social distancing :)

We continue to serve our patients in the best way we can during this challenging time. Our office continues to stay open for porch pick ups on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-5pm. Dr. Bender is also continuing to offer telemedicine consults when/if required. You may contact the clinic via telephone or email.

Remember: Phone or email your order. Wait for confirmation. Payment ONLY by e-transfer or cheque (a VISA Debit option may be available very soon for Dr. Kieswetter's patients).

New pick up guidelines for Waterloo Naturopathic Clinic

We continue to support and work with our patients during this challenging time.

As of the week of March 23, the following new guidelines will apply for picking up refills, in order to further comply with social distancing. Please read:

1. All patients will be required to call in their order at 519 885-3720. Drop ins will not be allowed.

2. Patients can then specify day of pick up, in accordance with clinic pick up hours and your package will be labeled and left on the front porch.

3. Patients of Dr. Bender may pay by:
- etransfer, at time of ordering
- cheque, at time of pickup

4. Patients of Dr. Kieswetter may pay by:
- etransfer, at time of ordering
- "VISA DEBIT" (not credit card), by providing number with staff over the phone at time of ordering
- cheque, at time of pickup.
Please do not email or post card numbers for security reasons.

Clinc hours for the week of March 23:
Tuesday and Thursday 9-5pm.

In addition to the previous posts, and considering the current COVID-19 pandemic, we have added the following clinic update to continue to help serve our patients in the safest way possible during these trying times.

During pick up hours, we ask that you kindly phone (519 885-3720) ahead so that your order is prepared and ready for you upon arrival. We also ask that you please ring the doorbell before entering. There will be a maximum of 2 people allowed in the clinic at the same time. We ask that if one person is purchasing supplements at the desk, a second person wait in the waiting room.

We kindly ask that you use the hand sanitizer upon entering and/or wash your hands both on arrival and after your transaction.

Please keep in mind that drop ship orders are also available by most companies. We would be happy to assist you with this if desired.
