Check this out: this is a sound visualizer, specifically a type of spectrogram, implemented in . It uses Fourier analysis to break the sound up into its harmonic components. The sound pressure level corresponding to each frequency is illustrated by how large the 3D mesh gets. This is great to play around with when learning signal analysis and to get more exposure to ue4

Mathematician Janelle Resch of the Audio Research Group at the University of Waterloo is the project lead on the Mc Donald’s Boombox, a free sound system and science toy being handed out as a limited promotion item at the restaurant’s Woodbine Beach location in Toronto.
