Disability Advocacy and Community Alliance is a collective of students working to create solidarity and community among persons at the University of Waterloo who identify as having, or are commonly labeled as having, a disability. We are committed to operating in a deliberate manner that strives to give all of our members the space, time and support they need to participate fully and with dignity. We are also working together to address barriers and promote universal inclusion in the wider university community through education and advocacy.

Hello All! Unfortunately DACA is on hiatus this term (and potentially indefinitely), as no-one has been able to step-in as coordinator. I will continue to monitor this page and the email (disabilityallianceuw@gmail.com). If you have an interest in taking on the role of coordinator (it's a commitment of about 5/hrs per week, and is best taken by someone who is around from term-to-term), or have any questions about DACA's past activities, please feel free to reach out. - Simon

Hello friends!

As the Winter Term wraps up, we would like to extend a sincere thank you to those who generously volunteered their time, effort, and energy for DACA. We are very grateful for the people who participated in meetings, organized events, put up posters, and so much more. DACA wouldn't be possible without your contributions.

We hope to see everyone next term or whenever you return to campus! Until then, take care and have a wonderful spring ❤
