Participants will connect with others who understand their unique experiences, share stories, and learn valuable coping strategies. Led by experienced Social Workers, the workshop provides a safe and supportive environment.

Hearts (and bellies) filled with sweetness, thanks to our community! Kids and families were ‘treated’ to a fun and exciting week of edible and non-edible goodies provided by incredible community partners during our Sensory-Friendly Trick or Treating events across our four locations (Oct 27-30).

Our supporting community rallied to ensure every child had an experience that was meaningful for them from candy and chip donations provided by TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® (Kitchener, Cambridge and Waterloo) & Skyline Group of Companies to ‘room-to-room’ volunteers with our friends at OTIP (Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan), D2L, Guelph Rotarians, & Skyline Group of Companies. And to ensure our theme of accessibility was realized, Ashley Ferraro Kizis, owner of Kidunified donated 400 inclusive puzzle donations that help kids discover and learn what inclusion looks like!

A massive shout out to OTIP (Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan) and ECU - A Division of WFCU Credit Union who joined forces to sponsor the event, raising awareness of each child’s unique needs and ensuring these impactful opportunities happen for our families. Thank you for bringing so many smiles to kids!
